The house is situated in the village "Widmer End "which is halfway between Amersham (4 miles) and High Wycombe and is 25 miles west of Marble Arch (London) in the county of Buckinghamshire which of course is in the United Kingdom Longfields was built in about 1912 it started life as a farm of about 100 acres
I bought the property some 45 years ago. I only bought the farm house and the immediate farmyard with an acre of land. This consisted of an corrugated tin barn , Brick store with asbestos roof, a couple of cow sheds, 4 Pigsty's and a chicken houses
The accommodation was a small two-bedroom bungalow, the whole site was run down and in need of renovation
The picture above shows the house as it is now , the last major alterations were carried out some 10 years ago
We removed the roof completely and replaced it with what you see now.
